Extremely rare jacket from Zegna, handcrafted from pure 100% Vicuña. Prized as the rarest and most luxurious fiber on earth, Vicuña garments represent the peak of Zegna savior-fare. In the Vicuña’s natural habitat of South America, its fleece is known as the “fibre of the gods.” In fact, the rare Puruvian vicuña was worshipped by the Inca civilization and its precious yarns were reserved exclusively for royalty. Today, ZEGNA harnesses the softness and sheen of the vicuña to create a sophisticated wardrobe for luxury connoisseurs. This particular jacket was a bespoke order created exclusively for a VIP Zegna client. It features a heavyweight knit torso, fine jersey sleeves, and front flap pockets, all from 100% pure Vicuna. The sleeves are lined in a fine silk, and the two-way zipper closure is inlayed with a piece of buffalo horn, with seams trimmed in brown suede.
